Paul Callaghan is an international award-winning wedding photographer from the south of Ireland with over three decades experience , his reputation and techniques have kept them at the forefront of his profession.

Paul is no stranger to the wedding workshop circuit,he has given extensive workshops in his home country along with the United Kingdom, Denmark, Italy and as far as Egypt with PTO ( Photo Training Overseas).

He is in the unique position of being the only photographer in the south of Ireland with a Fellowship in weddings from the societies and as a past member with the British Institute of professional photographers, the Master Photographer Association. Irish Professional Photographer Association and a qualified European Photographer (QEP ).

In 2008, he was given the very rare distinction of receiving the “Peter Grugeon Award “that year for best fellowship panel with the BIPP.

Accumulating over 400 gold awards in Ireland and currently numerous international prestigious awards Paul has also worked on the judging and mentoring circuit with all the major associations in the past.

His vibrant images are deeply rooted in a more classical style with emphasis on deep colours, lighting,composition and attention to detail which constantly evolves.

While photographic equipment has reached new heights of sophistication , trends come and go .Paul’s core values and techniques are based on the fundamentals of image making which applies to all genres of photography.
