Neil Shearer is a commercial sports and dance photographer hailing from the Northern sporting powerhouse of Manchester. Shooting a mixture of studio-based composites and location work, Neil has developed a strong visual identity. Using a combination of traditional photography, CGI and motion, Neil creates unique outcomes not limited by budget or location. Allowing him to focus on telling his clients stories.
Neil has shot portraits of Olympic medal winners and professional dancers across the spectrum, through to the future generation of athletes and those taking their first steps into the world of dance.
He is a firm believer in the fact that personal work always leads on to paid work and is the best way to keep your portfolio fresh.
Neil works across many disciplines and is as happy in the studio shooting creative product photography as he is running half way up a mountain to get the perfect shot.
