Michelle likes to describe herself as an Artographer, a combination of digital artist and photographer. She likes to photograph insects, flowers and gardens, cemeteries, and food. Her inspirations are Mother Nature, Travel and the Pre-Raphaelite Muses.
Michelle has been a member of The Societies since 2007. She attained an Illustrative Fellowship (IFSWPP) in 2019, and has an Associate in both Portraiture (SWPP) AND Nature & Wildlife (SINWP). In 2024 she won the 20×16 Creative Portrait Photographer of the Year print competition.
Michelle has been a regular speaker at The Societies Conventions since January 2013. She also hosts a series of talks and webinars for local camera clubs, WI’s and horticultural societies in the South West.
