Martina Wärenfeldt is a Swedish portrait photographer celebrated for her creatively styled fine art portraits—painterly, expressive, and inspired by the old masters, yet with a contemporary edge.
After earning her photography degree in California in her early twenties, Martina returned to Sweden to open her first studio. Over the past 28 years, she has built a thriving full-time career, developing both her artistic voice and business expertise.
From her studio in Växjö, Sweden, she creates elegant headshots and personal branding sessions alongside her signature fine art portraits—glamorous, evocative images of everyday people. Her work is recognised for its refined styling, masterful lighting, intentional posing, and harmonious colour palettes.
A Canon Nordic Professional since 2021 and Canon European Ambassador since 2023, Martina holds a Fellowship with The Societies of Photographers (UK), is a Double Master with the ICON Awards, and a Master with The Portrait Masters. Her images have earned more than 100 international awards, including Image of the Year at the Swedish National Championships.
As a respected judge for competitions such as The Society of Photographers and the ICON Awards, Martina also shares her expertise worldwide as a mentor and coach—helping photographers elevate their craft, confidence, and business with a focus on quality, clarity, and purpose.
