In this Masterclass, Terry will take you on a journey sharing his work with Wiltshire Air Ambulance Service.
As well as explaining the photographic considerations and how to best prepare for them, Terry will share just what it is like to work with an emergency service in fast changing circumstances.
Good solid Training and preparations along with good camera craft, Terry believes is key to being able to respond effectively to document and cover incidents as they evolve, and he will be delving into these topics during the masterclass.
Terry has been working with Wiltshire Air Ambulance since 2019 and has amassed first hand experience and knowledge of how to prepare and work with an emergency service during that time. The latest work from 2024 was used to highlight the services move towards having full time Critical Care Doctors working alongside Critical Care Paramedics on all shifts, to be able to provide a higher level of care to the patience on site.
Much of what Terry will speak about is cross genre, so there will be something for everyone in this masterclass, particularly if you shoot elements of documentary in your own work and need to work in largely uncontrolled environments.
In 2022 Terry received a letter from HRH The Prince of Wales, commending the work he had done in highlighting the self funding requirements of Wiltshire Air Ambulance, and saying how much he and the Duchess had enjoyed viewing the work. Never under estimate just how powerful photography can be in breaking down barriers and reaching people outside of your normal scope.
This is a masterclass that has never been seen before, full of information you can learn from, and rare shared experiences that you can use for inspiration in your own work. There will also be an open Q&A session at the end of the masterclass to cover any questions or thoughts you may have.
It would be great to see you there.
