David Stanbury is a multi-award-winning portrait and wedding photographer based in the North West of England, with a career spanning over 30 years and nearly 2,000 weddings.

His accolades include more than 300 international, national, and regional awards, including UK Wedding Photographer of the Year, UK Portrait Photographer of the Year, and UK Wedding Album of the Year. He has also been a two-time finalist in the prestigious Hasselblad Masters Awards and holds the title of Master of Photography from the SWPP.

David has achieved Fellowship qualifications—the highest professional distinctions—in wedding photography from both the BIPP (British Institute of Professional Photography) and the SWPP (Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers).

An internationally recognised mentor and trainer, David runs sell-out workshops across the UK, Europe, and America. He works as an industry consultant with some of the world’s leading photographic companies and is a respected judge and chairperson for major photography competitions, including the SWPP Annual Print Competition in London, WPPI in the USA, and the World Photographic Cup.
