The Societies of Photographers are pleased to announce the overall winners of their Monthly Image Competition.

Hanna Neret from Stockholm, Sweden was awarded the coveted Photographer of the Year by The Societies.

2022 has been another incredible year for The Societies of Photographers’ Monthly Image Competition, with 5,881 images entered throughout the year.

Each of the categories from our Monthly Image Competition has nominees which have been chosen from the Gold Award winning images from 2022.

The Judges’ Comments

This is a clever and inventive way of presenting a family portrait, showcasing everyone’s personality.

The standard of technical excellence shown within this image left the Judges speechless.

2022 was an interesting year for us all, but here at The Societies of Photographers’ we continued to work tirelessly behind the scenes to support our members through another difficult year. We would like to thank everyone that supported us, it is really appreciated.

2nd Place Photographer of the Year 2022 was awarded to Paul Schillings from Alicante, Spain.

3rd Place Photographer of the Year 2022 was awarded to Jo Howell from Victoria, Australia.
