At this year’s London Photo Convention, we had the incredible opportunity to meet so many wonderful people who stopped by to learn more about Remember My Baby and the work we do. It was heartwarming to see the kindness and generosity of visitors who took the time to speak with us, ask questions, and show their support.

However, we recently discovered that none of the QR code donations made at the event actually reached us due to poor signal strength in the function room. While many of you tried to contribute, the technical issue prevented your generosity from making it through.

But it’s not too late to help!

Remember My Baby provides free professional remembrance photography to families experiencing the loss of their baby before, during, or shortly after birth. Our team of dedicated volunteer photographers captures treasured images, giving families a lasting memory of their little one.

Your donation helps us continue offering this invaluable service at no cost to bereaved families. Here’s how your contribution can make a real impact:

£35 – Covers a full day of calls to our freephone number, connecting families with our volunteer photographers.

£25 – Helps a volunteer cover travel and parking costs to attend a hospital and support a family in need.

£15 – Supports the average travel costs for a volunteer visiting a hospital.

£5 – Every small donation adds up, helping us continue our mission and ensure no family has to face this journey alone.

Ten years ago, on August 18^th 2014, Remember My Baby was formed.

In that time, we have provided memories for over 7,000 families and delivered in excess of 200,000 images. Every single one of them is precious to us as we know that we have created memories that will stay in the families’ hearts forever.

We have been privileged to meet beautiful babies and help families to remember them.

Special Anniversary Podcast Series

To mark our 10th Anniversary, we commissioned a special series of podcasts which are being released during August, September and October. We are in conversation with RMB co-founders, medical professionals, volunteer photographers, and, of course, bereaved parents

The second episode  features two of Remember My Baby’s volunteer photographers – Heidi and Rhiannon.  A later episode released to mark International Bereaved Father’s Day on 25th August features Charles, who gives an open account of his journey as a bereaved parent.

Your Gift is Our Gift – 10th Anniversary Appeal

We have also launched a 10th Anniversary fundraising appeal, called Your Gift is Our Gift.

Remember My Baby is a tiny charity with a big UK-wide reach. In common with many other smaller charities, we have been affected by the post-covid period and the cost-of-living crisis – when we’ve all had to tighten our belts.  This has resulted in a sharp decline in donations and has required us to use our reserve funds to enable us to keep providing the service to bereaved families.

By giving us the gift of a small donation for our 10th Anniversary, you can help to ensure that other bereaved families can receive the gift of photographic memories from us, to treasure forever.

Here’s what your donations could do:

• £5 covers the cost of postage and packing for each new volunteer’s welcome pack
• £10 pays for the average cost of a volunteer attending a nearby session – travel & parking
• £20 covers the cost of a week’s secure storage of tens of thousands of precious photographs
• £35 covers the average daily cost of our 24/7 freephone telephone request line
• £50 covers the weekly cost of our database system that handles our information securely
