ZEISS launches the new Secacam 3 Wide-Angle: this trail camera offers maximum overview and brilliant images day and night. Developed for reliable use in all conditions, it impresses with its usual high image quality and a particularly wide field of view. At an attractive price, it complements the ZEISS portfolio of trail cameras for all applications and requirements.

The trail camera with a wide-angle lens is ideal for observing open landscapes, monitoring garden birds and capturing animal activity from different directions. The ZEISS Secacam 3 Wide-Angle is quick and easy to use and compatible with a wide range of accessories. Its full potential can be exploited with the ZEISS Secacam app via smartphone.

Outstanding performance in low light conditions

The camera impresses with its image quality, even in difficult lighting conditions. With 60 black LEDs and an extremely light-sensitive sensor, the camera delivers sharp, well-lit photos and videos even in complete darkness. Intelligent lighting control automatically adjusts the flash to prevent exposure errors while minimising energy consumption. The improved chip set enables faster image processing and transmission, while the modern, highly efficient video format ensures crystal-clear image quality with lower memory and data consumption.

For greater vision in nature and sharp details at close range

The camera is equipped with a wide-angle lens, offering a wide field of view of 100° to capture significantly larger areas than conventional models with only one camera. At the same time, the short minimum focus distance allows for detailed images even from a short distance. At only about 30 cm, the ZEISS Secacam 3 Wide-Angle delivers razor-sharp, detailed images. This is particularly helpful when installing the camera in confined spaces, such as nests or feeding stations.

Added value with the ZEISS Secacam app

The free ZEISS Secacam app serves as the central control for the camera. It enables remote access to recordings and settings, as well as real-time notifications about new images, videos or status changes directly on your smartphone. AI-based animal recognition makes it easier to identify and filter wildlife, and the ‘Colour the Night’ function allows you to colourise night-time recordings retrospectively.

The powerful LTE module of the ZEISS Secacam 3 Wide-Angle ensures fast transmission of images and videos, even in difficult network conditions. The included multi-roaming SIM card automatically selects the best available network at the location.

Easy setup – reliability in all weather conditions

The ZEISS Secacam 3 Wide-Angle is designed for quick and easy setup. It can be easily and securely attached to trees or other suitable mounting points and then conveniently aligned. Thanks to the live view on the 1.9-inch display, the image section can be checked directly on site in real time. At the touch of a button, a test photo can also be taken and sent directly to your smartphone to check the image section and mobile connection. Like all ZEISS trail cameras, the ZEISS Secacam 3 Wide-Angle has been developed for extreme weather conditions. The robust, sealed housing with IP66 certification provides excellent protection for daily use at any time of day or year at temperatures ranging from −25 to +65 degrees Celsius.

The tried-and-tested accessories are also available for the ZEISS Secacam 3 Wide-Angle. The ZEISS Vari-Mount for precise alignment and effortless attachment. If necessary, the camera can be secured with a padlock. The ZEISS Powerpack provides longer operating times – charging is convenient via weatherproof solar panels. Customised, weatherproof ZEISS metal housings provide optimum protection against theft and vandalism and enable easy attachment with a cable lock.

Further information on the ZEISS Secacam 3 Wide-Angle and the service package can be found at: https://shop.zeiss.com/subscriptions-prepaid-credits/

”The technology behind the new wide-angle camera with a 100° field of view is based on the proven ZEISS Secacam 3. Thanks to its large image angle, the camera captures a larger image section and delivers particularly detailed and clear images even in difficult lighting conditions, such as at night or in shaded areas.”
Carsten Hess Senior Product Manager for Trail Cameras

A good reveal wall looks like an exhibition, and a
reveal box has the same feel as a fine art portfolio. Prints of finished
quality are inexpensive to make even if your final edit includes dozens.

Presentation is the key, and loose prints laid on a
table or put on wall shelves don’t convey the value of your work. Put the same
prints into slip-in mounts and you can transform their impact.

Cotswold Mounts slip mounts in nine colours go up to
20 x 16” in stock size with larger ones to custom order, taking a wide range of
print sizes. You can use one mount size but have different apertures for
landscape, portrait, square or panoramic. Because the prints slip in and can be
removed, the mounts can be re-used. Mounting squares can secure the prints
firmly for final sale, in print boxes or for framing. The white core board with
a bevel cut gives every image a keyline.

The client may be choosing the right image for a large
wall print from a final selection. Having all the prints already presented in
slip mounts means additional sales ‘off the wall’ as well, with the prints
ready to go. Unselected images are removed without marking the mounts and these
can be set up for the next ‘reveal’ to a client.
