FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Electronic Imaging Division, today announced the worldwide launch of its FUJIFILM X-T30 III (X-T30 III) mirrorless digital camera. The latest iteration in the X-T30 series, X-T30 III gives still-focused photographers access to film-inspired looks, a growing lineup of interchangeable lenses, and the confidence that comes from reliable autofocus and long battery life.

“X-T30 III is for stills-inspired storytellers ready to make their next move – leveling up beyond their smartphones or earlier FUJIFILM X Series gear and into a more intentional image-making process,” said Victor Ha, vice president, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Electronic Imaging and Optical Devices Divisions. “It combines a compact form factor and traditional design with modern innovations like AI autofocus, longer battery life, and one-button simplicity for ease of use in everyday situations. The added Film Simulation dial encourages artistic exploration with straight out of the camera results, reminding users of the strengths of Fujifilm’s image quality and color science, while support for interchangeable lenses provides additional creative flexibility as both their photo and video skills and interests grow.”

Product Features

Advanced image processing delivers superb results and fast, accurate autofocus

FUJIFILM X-T30 III features a back-side illuminated 26.1-megapixel X-Trans™ CMOS 4 sensor and the latest high-speed X-Processor 5 image processor. Thanks to improved power efficiency, battery life is now 425 frames per charge (when using Economy Mode).

The camera uses the latest subject detection autofocus powered by deep-learning AI technology. In addition to face and eye detection, it automatically recognizes and tracks a wide range of subjects, including animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects, and drones[1].

X-T30 III supports up to 6.2K/30p internal recording in HEVC 4:2:2 10-bit quality. It also features high frame rate options including 4K/60p and 1080/240p. Powerful digital image stabilization reduces both small amounts of shake and more pronounced movement, such as recording video while walking.

Compact, lightweight design with Film Simulation dial expands creative options

FUJIFILM X-T30 III is the same size and weight as its predecessor, X-T30 II, making it ideal as an everyday carry. It measures 4.66×3.26×1.84in (4×82.8×46.8mm) and weighs 13.3oz2. The central viewfinder and dial-based design offers the same classic film-camera experience as other models in the X-T range.

A total of 20 Film Simulations, including REALA ACE and NOSTALGIC Neg, can be accessed via the top-plate Film Simulation dial. This unique digital color reproduction technology faithfully recreates the look of traditional analog films, making it easy to get great results straight out of camera, even for first-time digital camera users.

The dial has three customizable positions3, where users can save their favorite Film Simulation and selected image settings as original Film Simulation recipes. These can be accessed quickly by turning the dial, adding extra creative options for different scenes and subjects, using options including Grain Effect, Color Tone, and Highlights, for a truly bespoke look.

Fully featured, yet simple to use

A dedicated switch on the top of the camera selects AUTO mode, where X-T30 III automatically detects the scene and selects optimal focus and exposure settings, leaving users to concentrate on creating memorable images.

The camera has a built-in flash. When switched on, it automatically adjusts flash output, making it ideal for portraits in low-light or backlit situations.

The central viewfinder places the finder directly above the lens axis. This helps users focus more easily on the subject and background, recreating the classic film-camera experience.

The tilting rear LCD monitor uses 1.62 million dots, making it simpler to frame images from high or low angles – perfect for travel and landscape photography.

An ergonomically designed grip fits comfortably in the hand, offering assured handling despite the camera’s compact dimensions.

X-T30 III connects wirelessly to selected instax™ Link smartphone printers[4], for direct printing without using an app. Newly added support for the instax™ mini, instax™ SQUARE, and instax™ WIDE formats helps users enjoy a seamless experience from making to printing.

FUJIFILM X Series’ smallest compact zoom lens, with impressive close focusing capabilities, covering wide-angle to standard focal lengths.

FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Electronic Imaging Division, today announced the release of its FUJINON XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS Lens (XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS).

“Our FUJINON XC lenses have always represented a perfect entry point into the X Mount lens ecosystem for still-centric creators,” said Victor Ha, vice president, Electronic Imaging and Optical Devices Divisions, FUJIFILM North America Corporation. “FUJINON XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS is no different. It is perfect for those everyday moments because of its optical image stabilization and a versatile zoom range, which is ideal for everything from the big picture all the way down to the smaller details.”

Product Features

Fujifilm’s smallest and lightest zoom lens

XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS is a compact standard zoom lens measuring just 1.48 inches (37.5mm) and weighing 4.4o (125g); the smallest and lightest in Fujifilm’s current lineup.

When not in use, the lens body retracts, making it ideal for carrying or storage.

A design that blends portability with versatility

XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS covers focal lengths ideal for everyday use, from the wide-angle 13mm (35mm equivalent: 20mm) useful for everything from expansive landscapes and confined indoor spaces, to the standard 33mm (35mm equivalent: 50mm), effective for portraits and street photography.

Featuring a 10-element in nine-group construction, including four aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion (ED) glass elements, it suppresses typical wide-angle lens characteristics including distortion, field curvature, and chromatic aberration across the entire zoom range.

Offers a minimum focus distance of 7.87 inches (20cm) across the entire zoom range and a maximum magnification of 0.25x at the telephoto end, making XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS ideal for close-ups of flowers and plants, pets, and more.

Further features add to creative options

XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS includes a 0-stop Optical Image Stabilization mechanism that expands creative options to include handheld night photography and pictorial use of slow shutter speeds.

The lens can autofocus in as little as 0.025 seconds, exemplifying the lens’ high-speed, high-precision performance.

The nine-blade aperture achieves a more circular bokeh effect compared to conventional XC zoom lenses. This enables beautiful soft focus effects on a wide range of scenes, including portraits, landscapes, and nightscapes.

Pricing and Availability

FUJINON XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS lens will be available late January 2026 at a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $399.95 USD and $489.99 CAD.
FUJIFILM Corporation announces the global launch of the “FUJIFILM X-E5”(X-E5) from August 2025.

The X-E5 is a mirrorless digital camera featuring a lightweight, compact body weighing 445g*1, a back-illuminated 40.2 MP “X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR”*2 sensor, and a high-speed image processing engine, the “X-Processor 5”. As the first model in the “X-E series,” which is characterized by its rangefinder-style design allowing one-handed dial operation while looking through the viewfinder and its compact, lightweight body, it is equipped with a powerful five-axis IBIS mechanism offering up to 7.0 stops in the center and 6.0 stops at the edges*3.Users can enjoy effortless shooting with precision and versatility across a wide range of scenes. Additionally, for the first time in the “X Series,” the camera features a camera top plate made entirely from precision-machined aluminum. The flat top surface accentuates the edges, and the dial area is carved out to create a smooth metal texture and a high sense of rigidity and comfort when holding the camera. The electronic viewfinder (EVF) now features a new “Classic Display” mode*4, which displays only essential information in a simple, retro style reminiscent of film cameras. Furthermore, the layout of the dials has been designed so that all operations can be performed with the right hand alone when holding the camera and looking through the viewfinder, enabling highly immersive shooting. The X-E5 is a camera that combines the classic style unique to the X series with an innovative appearance that pursues the dignity of a camera through aluminum machining, as well as functions and operability that bring out the joy of shooting. It is a camera that provides the joy of owning a camera and the fun of photography to a wide range of users, from photography enthusiasts to those who are using a digital camera for the first time.

*1 Including battery and memory card
*2 X-Trans is a trademark or registered trademark of FUJIFILM Corporation.
*3 Based on CIPA 2024 standards. Yaw/pitch/roll correction performance when equipped with FUJINON XF35mmF1.4 R lens (sold separately)
*4 Only available on the EVF

Product Features
(1) Product design that pursues a classic and high-quality appearance

Design of the top plate

For the first time in the X series, a camera top case has been precision machined from aluminum. The machining process has created a flat top surface with sharp edges, combined with curved surfaces around the dials, resulting in an innovative design. This design enhances the metallic feel of the camera and improves the operability of the dials.

A newly designed Film Simulation dial placed at the left side of the top panel features a convenient window for easy visibility. The indicator plate, which displays the selected Film Simulation, is crafted with an aluminum-machined finish. Additionally, any of the 20 Film Simulations and image quality settings can be registered to three positions, FS1 to FS3*5. Personal “FS recipes” can be saved and accessed intuitively by switching the dial.

Not only the top plate, which has been machined, but also the viewfinder and diopter adjustment dial have been designed to minimize unevenness. In addition to narrowing the gap between the dial and the main body, the overall vertical and horizontal balance has been optimized to create a design that retains the look and feel of a camera while exuding a refined presence.

Included is a rope-type shoulder strap that goes well with the rangefinder style. It accentuates the high-quality camera design.

*5 Three positions are available on the Film Simulation dial, allowing up to 20 “Film Simulation “modes and image quality settings to be individually registered for FS1, FS2, and FS3.

(2) Effortless operation for a fully immersive viewfinder experience

A new retro and simple view mode called “Classic” has been added to the EVF display modes. Based on a simple design reminiscent of classic film cameras, the information displayed on the screen has been carefully selected. Additionally, the dials are arranged for operation with the right hand alone, enabling seamless adjustments while looking through the viewfinder and maintaining focus on the scene visible in the viewfinder.

A newly equipped surround view function displays areas outside the shooting range as either semi-transparent or outlined, depending on the aspect ratio. This feature delivers a shooting experience akin to using an OVF, even when using an EVF.

A new control lever is mounted on the front of the camera. The lever can be assigned functions such as changing the view mode, switching the aspect ratio, and changing the digital teleconverter magnification. This enables intuitive switching of functions while holding the camera, achieving high operability.

(3) Powerful in-body image stabilization and enhanced features that expand shooting possibilities

In addition to improving the detection accuracy of the gyro sensor, a newly adopted algorithm enhances tracking performance for blur, achieving 5-axis image stabilization with a maximum of 7.0 stops in the center and 6.0 stops at the periphery. Equipped with powerful image stabilization in a compact body, comfortable shooting is possible across a wide range of scenes.

The digital teleconverter function enables two-stage zooming at 1.4x and 2.0x. With the high-resolution sensor “X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR,” resolution is maintained even during zooming, allowing for versatile performance across a wide range of scenes.

Features a 3.0-inch, 1.04-million-dot tilt-type rear LCD monitor. The design supports shooting from high angles to low angles in various styles, with the monitor capable of rotating 180° upward to enable selfies while checking the screen.

6.2K/30P 4:2:2 10-bit video recording is possible. Equipped with tracking AF function during video recording, it enables high-quality video recording.

(4) Equipped with a high-performance sensor and high-speed image processing engine, it delivers high image quality and high-performance AF

The fifth generation of the X Series features a back-illuminated approximately 40.2 MP “X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR” sensor. The latest image processing algorithm achieves high resolution while maintaining a high S/N ratio.

A new pixel structure has been adopted to capture more light efficiently. ISO 125, which was an extended sensitivity in previous models *6, can now be used as a standard sensitivity. In addition, the electronic shutter speed can be set to a maximum of 1/180000 seconds, enabling shooting with the aperture wide open in a wide range of scenes. Adopts subject detection AF developed using deep learning technology. By selecting from animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, and trains, the AI detects each subject. Additionally, insects and drones can also be detected by individually setting the subject*7.

The latest AF prediction algorithm provides high tracking performance for moving subjects and high-precision AF even in low-contrast environments.

A high-precision sensor has been adopted for the manual focus ring, enabling focus adjustment with fewer rotations. This design ensures smooth and precise manual focus ring operation tailored to the user’s shooting intentions, supporting comfortable shooting.

A fixed ring is positioned between the manual focus ring and the aperture ring. This prevents one ring from being accidentally turned when rotating the other, ensuring effortless and precise operation.

An Anti-slip coating has been applied to the lens mount components, allowing a secure grip during changing lenses. This feature makes the process of swapping lenses smooth and reliable.

Rediscovering and reinventing the charm of film photography in a digital format
Evolving from the concept of classic half-frame cameras
Compact, lightweight design at just 240g offering a film-like photography experience

FUJIFILM Corporation (President and CEO, Representative Director: Teiichi Goto) announces the global launch of the “X half” (FUJIFILM X-HF1) from June 2025. The X half will be the latest model in the X Series, rediscovering and reinventing the charm of film photography in a digital format. It allows users to enjoy film-like photography with a lightweight body weighing only 240g*1.

The “X half” is a digital camera evolving from the concept of classic half-frame cameras*2, film cameras capable of shooting at half the size of 35mm film. In the past, Fujifilm introduced various film cameras, including the “FUJICA Half*3” released in 1963, sparking a timeless passion for photography. The “X half” is a digital camera that recreates and evolves the analog photography experience with a Frame Advance Lever and film-like photographic expression in a digital format. Fujifilm named this product “X half”, envisioning it as a perfect companion for both photography enthusiasts and newcomers exploring the world of digital cameras for the first time.

The “X half” is a compact digital camera that uses a 3:4 aspect ratio, different from the 3:2,4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios commonly used in many digital cameras, enabling the capture of still images and videos in a vertical composition. Equipped with a vertical optical viewfinder and LCD monitor optimized for vertical composition photography, the camera also features the “2in1*4” function, which enables the combination of two vertically composed photos into a single image, allowing for the creation of story-driven works that fully utilize the vertical aspect ratio. Furthermore, it includes “Film Simulation” which allows users to enjoy various color tone expressions as if they were changing photographic films, and “Grain Effect*5” which reproduces the unique graininess of film photos. Additionally, new shooting filters such as “LIGHT LEAK*6” and “HALATION*7” have been adopted, enabling diverse shooting expressions tailored to subjects and scenes. Furthermore, the “Film Camera Mode” revived the shooting experience of a film camera. In this mode, shooting is possible using only the optical viewfinder without the LCD monitor. After each shot, the Frame Advance Lever is operated to proceed to the next shot. The operation feels similar to advancing the film in a film camera. The images can only be viewed after the specified number of shots have been taken, adding an element of excitement and anticipation for the captured images.

“X half” is designed with a focus on lightness and product design, featuring a compact 240g body that evokes the charm of a classic film camera. It can be carried anywhere and used anytime for casual shooting. Additionally, the dedicated “X half*8” app allows the transfer of still images and videos to a smartphone, viewing captured images in gallery and album format, and printing them using the smartphone printer instax™ Link series*9, greatly expanding the ways to enjoy and express creative work.

The “X half” is a compact camera that digitally recreates and evolves the analog photographic expression and shooting experience unique to half-frame cameras, condensing the joy of photography into one device.
