DJI, a global leader in civilian drone technology and creative imaging, today announced the launch of the Osmo Nano, its lightest and most compact hands-free wearable camera. With a next-generation 1/1.3″ sensor, high-performance image processor, and a dual-faced magnetic mounting system, the Osmo Nano empowers creators to capture professional-grade content from anywhere – hands-free.

Wearable. Versatile. Ready Anywhere.

Weighing just 52 g and measuring approximately 57 × 29 × 28 mm, the Osmo Nano is designed for on-the-go capturing. Its magnetic dual-face design enables seamless mounting on hats, helmets, collars, and more – making it ideal for creators who want to film without holding a device.

For more extreme environments, Osmo Nano is waterproof up to 10 m without additional housing. When paired with the Multifunction Vision Dock, it gains splash resistance rated IPX4, guarding against sweat, rain, and light splashes. The dock also features a built-in OLED HD touchscreen, enabling remote framing and control.

Image Quality That Exceeds Expectations

At the heart of the Osmo Nano is a state-of-the-art 1/1.3″ sensor and powerful image processor. Together, these deliver up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range – ensuring crisp, detailed imagery even in challenging lighting. The camera records up to 4K/60fps video and supports slow motion at 4K/120fps.

With an ultra-wide 143° field of view, Osmo Nano captures more of each scene – no moment gets cut off. It is also the only camera of its size to support 10-bit colour depth and D-Log M for advanced post processing. The SuperNight mode further enhances low light performance via intelligent noise reduction algorithms.

To keep footage stable, HorizonBalancing maintains level horizons (correcting tilts up to ±30°) and RockSteady 3.0 reduces unwanted vibration.

The Multifunction Vision Dock: More Than a Base

The Vision Dock serves multiple functions: external monitor, remote control, charging hub, and file transfer station. Its magnetic interface allows the camera to be rotated freely, helping creators switch between landscape and portrait modes.

Charging performance is fast – the dock can recharge the camera to 80 % in just 20 minutes. When fully charged and docked, the system can shoot up to 200 minutes of 1080p/24fps video. In Endurance mode, it can record up to 60 minutes at 4K/30fps (16:9). The dock also includes a built-in microSD slot and supports high-speed data transfers (up to 600 MB/s).

Sound Options Tailored for Creators

Osmo Nano includes dual built-in microphones for stereo recording. For creators seeking professional audio, it supports direct connection to OsmoAudio™, enabling studio-quality sound capture by connecting DJI microphones without a separate receiver

Price & Availability

Osmo Nano is available for order now via DJI Store and authorized resellers, with shipping beginning immediately. The available configurations are:

Osmo Nano Combo Standard (64 GB) – €279

Osmo Nano Combo Standard (128 GB) – €309

Leading Taiwanese optics and photo/video accessory manufacturer, STC, has revealed a brand-new series of specialist filters for professional and enthusiast aerial photographers and videographers. Say hello to the all-new STC Professional Optical Glass Filters for the DJI Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine.

DJI Mavic 3 Series
Since the launch of the DJI Mavic 3 series in the autumn of 2022, photographers, filmmakers and content creators have flocked to capitalise on the progressive and high-quality features that the drone has delivered to the market.

STC Mavic 3 Filters: Key Features

High-quality Japanese AGC professional optical glass

5.1K high-resolution shooting supported

Multi-layer nano coating with waterproof, anti-smudge and anti-reflection, non-scratch, anti-reflection and anti-static coatings

STC’s original lightweight aluminium buckle design is tough and quick to disassemble

Why Shoot with Filters?
The primary reason for using ND Filters in aerial photography/videography is to achieve the correct exposure for your shot and to generate motion blur.

Motion blur is important in videography as the human eye and brain always experience motion in real life. With today’s super-high frame rates, it’s important to apply the 180-degree rule to add motion blur and ND filters are the perfect tool for this. The 180-degree rule describes the relationship between shutter speed and frame rate when shooting motion. Essentially, this means that your shutter speed should be set to double your frame rate. In simple terms, ‘cinematic shutter speeds’ are the standard by which shutter speed is set at double the user’s frame rate, or as close as possible.

This rule also applies to stills photography and can be exaggerated to produce incredible results in adding the effect of motion to scenes with running water, moving clouds, vehicles and much more.

Of course, rules are made to be broken, so this can be applied in various ways to achieve unique aesthetics in creative image-making.

Polarising Filters provide anti-reflective superpowers in videography and still photography. STC’s perfect polarising partners will kill reflections from glass, water, metallic and other surfaces. This effect is also extremely useful in the growing photogrammetry market, where photographers and videographers map objects to create ‘digital twins’ for game development and virtual film production. STC’s premium polarising filters will give the very best results for these purposes, producing perfectly muted images and footage, which will give the best results when rendering for future use of the asset.

William Wu, CEO and Lead Design Engineer, STC, said: “We are pleased to announce the STC Professional Filter Series for the DJI Mavic 3 range. With so many entry-level, plastic products in the market, we have produced a professional-grade product with our high-quality glass and leading coating materials to complement the capability of the exceptional Mavic drones. The results of which, speak for themselves.”
